Privacy policy
Effective date: 11 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NL-Tec Pty Ltd (ABN 72 066 375 166), trading online as QOR360 Australia, collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information when you visit or use the QOR360 Australia online store, purchase a product, contact us or otherwise interact with us.
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles to the extent they apply to us.
Personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- identity and contact information, such as your name, delivery and billing addresses, email address and phone number;
- order and transaction information, such as products ordered, purchase history, payment status, returns and warranty claims;
- payment information processed by Shopify and our payment providers. We do not necessarily receive or retain complete payment-card details;
- communications with us, including enquiries, feedback and customer-support records;
- account details and preferences, if store accounts or preference controls are available;
- marketing preferences and records of your consent or opt-out choices; and
- technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages and interactions with the store. Shopify's native analytics and customer-event infrastructure may process this information.
If you give us personal information about another person, you should have authority to do so and should make them aware of this policy where appropriate.
How we collect personal information
We collect personal information directly from you when you place an order, communicate with us, submit a store form, make a return or warranty claim, or subscribe to communications. Shopify may collect technical information automatically through its native analytics, customer-event infrastructure, cookies and similar technologies. We may also receive information from Shopify, the payment processor made available at checkout, delivery providers and other service providers involved in operating the store and fulfilling your request.
Why we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- process payments, accept and fulfil orders, arrange delivery and communicate about an order;
- administer returns, refunds, warranty claims and customer support;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the store and our services;
- detect and prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents;
- maintain business, taxation and legal records;
- understand store usage and measure performance;
- send marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law, and honour opt-out requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where practicable, you may deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym, but we need accurate identifying and contact information to process and deliver an order, issue a refund or handle many service and warranty requests.
Disclosure of personal information
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:
- Shopify, which hosts and supports the online store;
- Google Analytics 4, which we use to understand use of the QOR360 Australia storefront;
- the payment processor made available at checkout, banks and fraud-prevention providers;
- delivery, warehousing and logistics providers;
- other technology, hosting, communications and professional-service providers used to operate and support the store;
- QOR360 product suppliers where necessary to resolve a product, support or warranty issue;
- regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where required or authorised by law; and
- a purchaser or adviser in connection with an actual or proposed sale, restructure or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements.
We do not disclose personal information for an unrelated purpose unless you consent or the disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.
Shopify and overseas processing
Our store is hosted and operated on Shopify's ecommerce platform. Shopify Admin currently identifies the store's data-storage hosting location as the United States. Shopify's published terms also state that customer personal information may be transferred to and processed in other countries where Shopify, its affiliates or service providers operate under its infrastructure and contractual arrangements. Google may process information outside Australia in accordance with Google's own infrastructure and privacy terms. Other service providers may process information outside Australia according to the service used. Where Australian privacy law requires it, we take reasonable steps in relation to overseas disclosures. You may contact us for available information about likely overseas locations and the providers relevant to your interaction.
Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for this store. Shopify may use customer information from interactions with this store, other Shopify merchants and Shopify to provide Enhanced Services, including services intended to protect, improve and personalise stores and customer experiences. Shopify handles personal information under its own privacy practices as well as on our behalf. You can learn more and exercise available Shopify privacy choices through Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers.
Cookies and analytics
Shopify uses cookies and similar technologies to operate essential storefront and checkout features, maintain security, understand store use and measure performance. Google Analytics 4 is used to understand use of the QOR360 Australia storefront. It is implemented through a Shopify Customer Events custom pixel using measurement ID G-YK6ZEML9ST. Google Analytics 4 may receive technical and usage information such as page views, page URL, page title, referrer, device and browser information, IP-derived information and similar analytics data. Google may process this information outside Australia in accordance with Google's own infrastructure and privacy terms.
Shopify's native analytics and customer-event infrastructure are separate from Google Analytics 4 and remain active. Shopify Network Intelligence is also separate and remains enabled as described above. Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, but doing so can prevent some store features from working correctly.
Shopify Admin currently reports that a cookie banner is not required for the regions into which this store sells. Shopify may make regional privacy controls available where applicable, including an automatically active data-sharing opt-out page for visitors in certain U.S. states. Cookie and analytics disclosures in this policy should be read together with any consent or preference controls Shopify displays to a visitor.
Direct marketing
If you receive electronic marketing from us, you may unsubscribe using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages needed to service an order, account, return, warranty claim or other transaction.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including customer service, warranty, accounting, taxation, dispute and legal requirements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy it or de-identify it, subject to lawful retention obligations.
Access and correction
You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you or request that it be corrected. Contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable period and may refuse access or correction only where permitted by law, explaining the reason and available complaint mechanisms where required. Any permitted access charge will not be excessive and will be disclosed in advance.
Privacy complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us with details of your concern. We will acknowledge and investigate the complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Information is available at https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
Children
This store is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authority, contact us so that we can assess and address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices, services or legal obligations. The current version will be posted on this store with its effective date.
